Frequently asked questions.
What's the minimum top-up for a VPS?
$5.00. A reservation equivalent to 24 hours of credit is locked when you deploy. For an S1 at $0.007/hr, $0.168 is reserved.
Can I resize a VPS without downtime?
CPU and RAM resizes require a brief reboot (~15s). Disk expansion is live. Resizing down is not currently supported.
Which Linux distributions do you support?
Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Debian 12, AlmaLinux 9, Rocky Linux 9, and Fedora 40. Windows is not currently offered.
What is the monitoring agent?
An open-source Go binary that runs inside your VPS and pushes CPU, RAM, disk, and network stats to the panel every 60 seconds.
Are backups automatic?
The panel includes managed Borg backups. First 20 GB per VPS is free; $0.05/GB/month beyond that. Configure daily or weekly schedules.
What happens when my credit runs out?
We send email warnings at 72h, 24h, and 6h remaining runway. At 0h the VPS is suspended. You have 7 days to top up and restore it before the disk is deleted.
